Trip Trapping into 2018

Stoked to share I received news of my first short story acceptance of 2018! My piece “That which Trip Traps” will be featured in the fabulous inaugural issue of Black Noise Books’ literary journal, Black Noise Quarterly, edited by Jagannath Chakravarti, the erstwhile editor of the acclaimed CultureCult Magazine.

The story is basically my love letter to Richard Matheson and is about a character named Sanjeev Mathias who notices something unnaturally bizarre on his flight and grapples with mounting paranoia.

When I started perusing listings some years ago, any market for short fiction, especially in the genre I’m drawn to, was non-existent in India. So I couldn’t be more delighted to be a part of Black Noise Books, a Kolkata based publishing house.

The inaugural issue will showcase original fiction, non-fiction and art by talents from all over the globe

Here’s a little peek at an excerpt.
